Rafael Nadal has always been adamant about being very lucky to have had a career is still going and Carlos Moya admitted that the Spaniards never compares himself to other players.
In a world where everything and everyone is being compared to Rafael Nadal seems to be a different type. The Spaniard has always been humble about his career and achievements never rushing to paint himself as the best in anything. His coach Carlos Moya admitted that Nadal doesn't like to compare himself to other players. Moya said:
"It doesn't matter if it is 21 or 25 or 30. He likes to be competitive, he likes to stay healthy. That is the most important thing for him. Then if he finishes with 25, he is only looking at what he's doing for himself. And he is happy with that."
Nadal is most often compared to Federer and Djokovic who are the other two players people think can be called the greatest of all time. Nadal spoke about the topic oftentimes saying that he does not really care about it that much. Moya also added that Nadal is content with himself and doesn't compare himself to others.
"He never compares himself with any other player. It's more a media thing, I think, or even a fan thing, but he just wants to keep improving and evolving and be a contender for Slams for many more years to come."
