Rafael Nadal gave yesterday a round of interviews by different Spanish media in which he spoke about his career in general and the great rivals he has had as
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. Regarding the Serb, he commented in La Sexta that he must be considered at this time the best in history and that he believes he is a good person despite some of his actions:
"The image he projects is worse than he really is. He's a good person, with his mistakes... but much better than he looks. To me when someone with so much success has to project. Novak breaks the racquet but the next point he is at one hundred percent, that's why he is the one who has achieved more in the history of our sport. The numbers don't lie, he is the best in history. He has had a better body than mine and that also counts".
On the rivalry with Djokovic himself and Roger Federer, one of the greatest in the history of the sport, he commented: "We have shared most of our career. I came in very young and he was in his prime. We have helped each other a lot, and we have taken a lot away from each other.... Not only with Roger, but also with Novak. We knew we could not fail. We had a clear path marked to know how to improve".
He does not call Federer a 'friend', although he obviously claims to have a great relationship with him: "My relationship with Roger is very good.I have my lifelong friends. But Roger has been a great partner. He is a very familiar person.
