In May 2016, Rafael Nadal opened his Rafa Nadal Academy at home in Manacor, passing his vision onto the upcoming stars at the state of the art facility.
The Academy offers the best conditions for the future tennis stars, helping them to improve the various elements with highly skilled and trained coaches. Also, the Academy is hosting various junior and professional events, giving a chance to its students to compete and gain experience.
Rafael Nadal will compete at the Monte Carlo Masters next week, but he found time to check the works on the Academy's new facilities that would turn it into an even more desired tennis heaven. Rafa checked the current state of seven covered clay courts, which should be completed soon. New indoor courts are also coming,
alongside the office zone, fitness training places and areas for physiotherapy, psychology, nutrition and sports medicine. The goal is to finish everything for the start of the Annual Programme in September.
