Raonic played last week in Rosmalen and won his first match in two years but in returning to the court, he got injured.
He was due to play Jordan Thompson again like last week but withdrew on Tuesday morning.
According to James Gray of i News though, he still plans to play WImbledon and this is merely a precaution after injuring himself last week in the Netherlands.
Alexei Popyrin who was a lucky loser will now take the spot filled by Raonic and faces Jordan Thompson this afternoon.
