Former World No.3 Milos Raonic rallied from a set down to defeat Filip Krajinovic, booking his spot in the Western & Southern Open semifinals.

The Canadian overcame a set deficit and saved a match point to prevail in a 4-6 7-6(2) 7-5 victory. Having not even dropped serve the entire tournament, Raonic was pushed to the brink of elimination as Krajinovic obtained an early break and raced to a 3-1 lead. This was sufficient for the Serb to take the first set, as he dictated play from the baseline.
The second set saw Krajinovic grab an early break and serve for the match at 5-4. However, Raonic applied enough pressure to break back, before dominating in the tiebreak to take the second set.
The deciding set saw no early breaks of serve , with Raonic facing a match point when serving at 4-5. A well-placed serve coupled with some powerful forehands ensured the Canadians survival, before Krajinovic finally cracked under the pressure. Unable to hold his serve at 5-5, Raonic had no such issue as he broke and served out the match after two hours and 43 minutes.
Raonic will face reigning ATP Finals champion Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semifinals, as the Greek star advanced following his opponents retirement. The two have clashed once on the ATP Tour, with Raonic emerging victorious at this year's Australian Open.
