Real Madrid want to host a tennis exhibition match between Federer and Nadal

After Federer announced that the Laver Cup will be his final career event, reports from Spain have suggested that Real Madrid wants to stage an exhibition between him and Rafael Nadal.

Nadal has been a lifelong Real Madrid supporter and he is a frequent guest of the club. That is why reports from Sapin are suggested that Nadal and the club would like to stage a celebration of tennis to honour both Federer and Nadal but also their legendary rivalry.

The event is supposed to draw a crowd of 80,000 people and should be in an exhibition format with no specifics known yet. Nadal has expressed interest in becoming involved with the Club following his retirement and he might play a major role in convincing his friend to go ahead with this.
