Results, Day 2 at China Open: Tsitsipas and Thiem both through in Beijing

The second day of action is completed at the China Open in Beijing and the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Dominic Thiem are all through.
Tsitsipas defeated Dusan Lajovic after going a set behind but eased through after the early blip 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. He will now face off against Nikoloz Basilashvili who defeated Guido Pella 6-4, 7-6.
Thiem defeated Richard Gasquet with ease to go towards confirming his spot at the ATP Finals in London for a fourth successive year.
The Austrian claimed victory 6-4, 6-1 over the Frenchman having lost his two previous encounters against him every year two years apart. He will next take on wild card Zhizhen Zhang.
Andy Murray earlier today opened his account where he defeated Matteo Berrettini and he was joined by John Isner and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
