Robert Lewandowski was the world's best player in 2020, leading his Bayern Munich towards six trophies and scoring 34 goals in 31 matches for many notable records.
Like many other athletes, Robert has been inspired by
Roger Federer's longevity and class both on and off the court. In a recent video, the Pole honored the Swiss as a great role model, praising his qualities and where he currently stands just a few months before turning 40. While speaking Federer, Lewandowski held Roger's biography in his hands, explaining how important it is for him.
While praising Federer, Lewandowski admitted that he hasn't met one of his favorite athletes yet, saying he reached another tennis legend, Novak Djokovic. Lewandowski will have a chance to meet Federer in the current season or the next one, with the Swiss star hoping to extend his career and stay competitive for a couple of more years.
"Roger is a great role model, not just for other athletes but also for me. He has been a sportsman who has been playing at the top level for years while also showing what a great person he is. Roger? No, I haven't meet Roger yet, only Novak Djokovic," Robert Lewandowski said.
