Former world number one Switzerland’s
Roger Federer was seen
with his family attending the Diamond League Athletics event.
The event is currently taking place in the city of Zurich where
the 42-year-old was spotted with his family.
Federer is termed by many as one of the greatest players of
all time in the history of men’s singles tennis in the Open era.
The legendary tennis star announced retirement from the sport
last year after struggling with fitness concerns for a long time.
He ended his illustrious career at the highest level with 20
Grand Slam titles to his name.
Federer was the first to win more than 15 major titles in
the men’s singles category in the Open era. He was also the first to win 20
Grand Slam titles.
His most successful competition has been Wimbledon where he
won the title eight times —in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2017.
He holds the record for the most Wimbledon titles won as well.
His last Grand Slam victory came in 2018 in the Australian
Open where he defeated Croatia’s Marin Cilic in the final with a score of 6–2,
6–7(5–7), 6–3, 3–6, 6–1.
