Roger Federer spotted in South African dressing room after 2023 Rugby World Cup win

With the Rugby World Cup final taking place at the Stade de France, two tennis legends in particular were in attendance in the form of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

But it was Roger Federer who ended up in the dressing room after their stunning win over New Zealand in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final.

Federer has a deep bond with the South African rugby team as his mother Lynette Federer was born and grew up there and he holds dual citizenship between there and Switzerland explaining the link.

He also is well known for his charity work in the country funding education and sports projects. "Game recognise game" was the caption as the official Rugby World Cup page shared a video of Federer with the players.
