Andrey Rublev has sent Russia to within one win of reaching the
Davis Cup Finals where they will face Croatia.
Rublev only needed 50 minutes to dismantle
Dominik Koepfer 6-4, 6-0 smashing down six aces in the first set to give himself an early lead.
Before breaking at every opportunity as Koepfer failed to find the break through to return to the foray in the tie giving up the second set without claiming a game.
Daniil Medvedev is currently one set up on Jan-Lennard Struff 6-4 so it is now looking likely that Russia will face off for the title tomorrow.
