Rumour mill continues to gather steam of bombshell Jannik Sinner - Juan Carlos Ferrero link-up

Juan Carlos Ferrero confirmed yesterday that he will return to the ATP Tour in 2027, but while some might think he might get together with a new protege, it seems he could even be getting together with Carlos Alcaraz's biggest rival.
Rumours are rampant as to who he will be with, Rafael Jodar of course is an obvious pick as a fellow Spaniard and one that is on the verge of reaching the next level. But reports from Argentina point to an even wilder rumour.
According to former player José-Luis Clerc who is a commentator for ESPN in Latin America, Ferrero is set to become the next coach of World No.1 Jannik Sinner.
Sinner reportedly learned about this news during the Cincinnati Open back last month before the US Open at the ATP 1000 tournament. The news was confirmed this past Wednesday by Argentine journalist Gonzalo Ferreyra, who claims to have confirmed it with another source too.

Cahill likely to retire
Darren Cahill is set to seemingly finally retire at the end of the season. He has long decided to stay with Sinner despite long saying that he was going to leave.
“It depends on whether I want to tell the truth or not,” Sinner said previously.
“We had a bet before the final. I told him, ‘If I win tomorrow, I can decide whether you stay until the end of the year or not.’ Now the choice is mine!
“I’ve always looked for an honest person. Someone who gives me so much, not just on the tennis court, but in life outside of it, about how to live both in victories and disappointments. And he’s very good. If I choose to stay with him, he probably won’t travel so much anymore. That’s normal.

“We’ll have to see about that too. But I’ve always said, back in Australia, that I’d like to have him, because things are going well. Now we’ll see. The season is still nothing, there are still so many tournaments to go, and I’ll still see him a lot. You never know. But let’s say I won the bet and now it’s up to me to decide, we’ll see.”
But it seems to be the final stand for their partnership, and it could be that Ferrero becomes head coach alongside Simone Vagnozzi.

- WTA has been unfairly ignoring Elena ever since Wimbledon. Arguably biased against her. Same with the most major sponsors whom normally pounce on the Wimbledon Winners for sponsorship. Didn't happen. Her unfair treatment was always in Lena's subconcious; how she was largely ignored after Wimbledon. Her sister helped her a lot during that period. Next came illnesses and minor injury. A lot of time was lost, and physical (mental?) issues were frequent, as she fought through the absurdiy and general nonsense brought-on by her coach/partner. He was a Loser then, he's a Loser still. Although he has lowered his attitude, volume, and non-stop yapping from the box since he wore the organizations out with his non-stop legal letters begging for mercy and ultimately fully reinstated.
