Holger Rune is set to make his Laver Cup debut this year after signing up for the 2023 edition in Vancouver following Europe's loss last year in London.
Holger Rune has established himself as one of the best tennis players in the world. He got invited to take part in the 2023 edition of the Laver Cup which will happen in Vancouver later this year and he accepted. Being Danish and European, Rune is excited about defending the blue colours of his continent against the rest of the world.
He said:
“I’m so honored to be part of Team Europe in Vancouver this year. I’ve watched Laver Cup over the past few years and love the event. The competition is so intense and getting to really know the personalities of your rivals so unique. It has been a goal of mine to make the team and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Team Captain Bjorn Borg added:
