Casper Ruud revealed that his grandmothers will be present at the
ATP Finals as he got in trouble for not inviting them often.
Casper Ruud generally has huge support from the stands as most of his family attends all of his matches. This time around, in Turin, we'll even see his grandmothers as he explained getting in trouble for not inviting them often in the past:
"They don't come to too much. Sometimes they are a little bit frustrated with me that I don't invite them too often. They are great, but as all grandmothers, they can maybe be a bit too much at times. But of course I love them and it's nice for them to be here for the first time."
Ruud followed up his breakout year with some more amazing tennis solidifying himself as a top 10 player and giving himself chances to win grand slam events:
"I knew that this year was going to be an important and challenging one for me because the first time you reach the Top 10, or the first year you reach this tournament, you know that the next year you will have to defend everything that you have done. To be able to do it again this year, for a second time, is very special."
