The latest day of action is complete at the Generali Open Kitzbuhel with Diego Schwartzman surviving a tough opening test and Fabio Fognini being dumped out by World No.303 - Marc-Andrea Huesler.

Fognini joined an early exodus of seeded names with the Italian the top seed in Kitzbuhel by losing 6-1, 6-2 in the second round. He had a bye in the opening round and was playing his first match since having arthroscopic surgery on both ankles in May.
His opening set wasn't the best start with him double faulting four times and winning just eight points on serve. Huesler saved three break points in the second and held serve throughout to claim his biggest win and only his third on the ATP Tour.
Next will be Feliciano Lopez who edged past Guido Pella 7-5, 6-7(3), 7-6(4) in one of the games of the day on the schedule.
Schwartzman limped out of the US Open with a poor display against Cam Norrie as Number 9 seed so as a result, he had a point to prove coming into the clay court season.
He faced home hope Sebastian Ofner and claimed a 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 victory in a tough opening round examination. He hit 69% of points on his 1st and 55% on his second serve and while Ofner claimed 4/5 break opportunities; Schwartzman had more and converted a pivotal 5/13.
