It’s semi-finals day at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships with schedule of play confirmed.
Starting off the Schedule of Play is Dan Evans against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Both players have been excellent so far at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
In particular the former who has had another excellent run to start the year and showed this by defeating Andrey Rublev yesterday.
Tsitsipas though has been imperious claiming victory over Jan-Lennard Struff yesterday and despite having to come from a set down, his match winning streak continues.
This has seen him win 14 out of his 15 sets in that time and included a triumph in Marseille.
The Greek ace reached the final last year but he will gave to encounter a tough test to get there again.
Then it is Novak Djokovic and Gael Monfils in the second semi-final.
Djokovic has breezed through this week in Dubai and could easily claim the title without losing a set. He eased past Karen Khachanov yesterday in a win which means his number 1 status continues.
He takes on Gael Monfils and it is an interesting game because Djokovic holds a 16-0 record over him in Head 2 Head and based off this past week that could very much continue. Can Monfils dispel the Djokovic barrage or will the Serbian ace make it 17-0?
