Shapovalov easily through into semifinals in Stockholm, Carreno-Busta turns the match

Krajinovic started the day in Sweden with comfortable victory over Yoshihito Nishioka. The Serbian spent just and hour and 17 minutes on the court to win the match 6-3 and 6-4.

In the semifinals he will meet the 5th seeded Carreno-Busta. Spaniard lost the first set 4-6 to Querrey but managed to turn the match later. He was almost flawless in the second and third set to win them in an hour 6-1 and 6-4.

Denis Shapovalov did not have much work with Cedrik-Marcel Stebe. He destroyed him in the first set 6-0 in just 19 minutes allowing the opponent to win only 6 points. Just next 31 minutes was the time that took him to capture also the win in the second set.

The last semifinalist was decided by a 3 hours and 12 minutes drama. Janko Tipsarevic faced Yuchi Sugita in his "goodbye" season. Sugita won the first set 6-2, but Tipsarevic managed to level the score in the second. Sugita had 9 match points in the 3rd set but Tipsarevic saved all of them. Unfortunately, for the Serbian, he did not manage to do the same in the tie-break which he lost 7-4.
