Andy Roddick and
Roger Federer have a very good relationship despite the Swiss handing Roddick a couple of painful defeats.
Their legendary
Wimbledon final was a match for the ages that went to Federer and it was by far the toughest defeat Roddick ever had to endure in his career. Winning Wimbledon was something the American always wanted to do but he could not get past Roger.
Wimbledon was the centre of the way the American paid tribute to Federer. He did it in a humorous way earning praise from a devastated Federer fan in the comments.
Roddick tweeted:
"Seems like a good time to start training for Wimby."
He then added that he was obviously kidding but several fans pointed out how funny the tweet actually is praising him.
