Stefanos Tsitsipas has turned the page after his relationship with Paula Badosa and publicly introduced his new girlfriend — a former college tour tennis player — who appeared alongside the Greek star in his latest
YouTube project. The world No. 3 shared a vlog on the video platform documenting his impressive off-season journey through Namibia.
Tsitsipas had posted videos on his channel before, but they were from three to four years ago, featuring travel vlogs around Greece and Marbella. Now, he has returned to YouTube with a high-production video showcasing his trip to Namibia with his American girlfriend, Kirsten Thoms.
"Namibia is not a place you simply visit. It’s a feeling that lingers long after you leave. This film is a quiet journey through vast landscapes, silence, and space," he wrote in the video description. "A reminder of how powerful it is to slow down, listen, and be fully present. Along the way, we spent time with the local Himba people, sharing moments that felt honest and grounding."
"We traveled deep into the heart of the desert, exploring the surreal beauty of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where time feels suspended between sand, sky, and silence," he added. "From above, a helicopter flight revealed the raw, untamed edges of the Skeleton Coast, a place where land meets ocean in the most dramatic way. On the ground, we met children of all ages at a local school, moments that quietly stay with you."
The two-time Grand Slam runner-up had a well-publicized relationship with former world No. 2 Paula Badosa for nearly two years, but it ended a few months ago — just before the start of the US Open, when they were scheduled to compete together in mixed doubles but both withdrew from the event.
Tsitsipas spent the past season competing in the
United Cup alongside Maria Sakkari, achieving both personal and team success. The Greek duo advanced through the group stage, defeating strong opponents from Great Britain and Japan. Tsitsipas won his singles matches against Shintaro Mochizuki and Billy Harris (the latter replacing Jack Draper). He also teamed up with Sakkari in mixed doubles against the Japanese pair, securing another win.
In the quarterfinals, they faced defending champions USA, where Tsitsipas notably upset world No. 5 Taylor Fritz, keeping the Europeans alive after Sakkari lost earlier to Coco Gauff. In mixed doubles, Tsitsipas and Sakkari fell in a
tough battle against Gauff and Christian Harris (4-6, 6-4, [8-10]).
Stefanos’ next challenge will be this week at the
Adelaide International, where he is still waiting to learn his opponent from the qualifiers. The tournament features several top players in the draw, including Tommy Paul, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Valentin Vacherot, and Francisco Cerundolo, among others.
