Injuries has claimed a 2nd player at the ATP Finals with Stefanos Tsitsipas joining Matteo Berrettini as players who withdrew from the event.
Tsitsipas arrived in Turin with a persistent foot injury that prevented him from playing in Paris but he seemed to have picked up another injury in the meantime. His elbow bothered him during his first-round match against Rublev and it seems like the Greek decided it was not worth risking it. The 2022 season is not far away and elbows can be tricky to handle.
It's a disappointing end to the season for Tsitsipas who has not been in great form to begin with. This longer layoff should prove good for him and his body in order to recover fully for the next season. Cameron Norrie arrived in Turin after Berrettini retired to serve as an alternate and he will get a chance to play at the ATP Finals.
His campaign will kick off tonight against Casper Ruud.

Pretty expected as he looked very limited on Monday. Cameron Norrie to play two matches, still got a shot to make the semifinals. (Is Felix or Aslan around?)
