Tennis star Taylor Fritz spent some of his off-season at home in the United States, where the American was seen winding up home fans at an NFL game featuring his hometown Los Angeles Chargers.
The World No.4 had an exceptional 2024 season, reaching the US Open finals this summer. Although he fell to a red hot Jannik Sinner, Fritz announced his intention as a major threat at Grand Slams. Furthermore, Fritz finished runner-up at the year-ending ATP Finals, falling again to Sinner in straight sets.
The California native is an avid football fan, and has been spotted at NFL games featuring the Los Angeles Chargers football team in the past. During a recent game against the Tamp Bay Buccaneers, Fritz was seen interacting with the home crowd at the SoFi Stadium, the home ground of the Los Angeles team.
As per game tradition, Fritz was asked to wind up a turbine, which would "bolt up" all the Chargers fans present. The American tennis star, wearing a customized "No.1" Chargers jersey, seemed excited as he played to the crowd.
"Bolt Up" posted Fritz on social media.
Unfortunately, the Chargers would lose the game, as the Buccaneers would prevail with a 40-17 victory.
