Tennis fans have called out the community about totally ignoring the WTA when talking about tennis records pointing out Navratilova's record which is better than Nadal's.
Nadal entered the top 10 in 2005 and is yet to leave it since. It's been 18 years but it will end soon as he will leave the top 10 following Indian Wells. He improved upon Connor's record of 789 consecutive weeks inside the top 10 as he has 912 weeks right now. However, that is still short of Navratilova's record which stands at 1000 weeks.
Fans pointed out how her record is the actual record in tennis despite many raving about Nadal's 'tennis-best' mark. We bring you some of their reactions:
"Since tennis media thought it was OK comparing Djokovic's record of most week at No.1 with Staffi Graf, Martina Navratilova has that above-mentioned record and not Nadal."
"Actually, it's Djokovic's records people have problems with. It's funny how nobody compares Nadal's records to WTA players achievements, but if Djokovic achieves something, it goes into debate and discussion immediately"
"Sorry, Martina Navratilova has the record."
