Tennis stars react to passing of basketball legend Kobe Bryant

Basketball legend Kobe Bryant passed away in a helicopter crash this past weekend and the tennis world has come together to mourn his loss.

Among them was Rafael Nadal who said that he was in 'shock' as to the news and sent his condolences to the family of the basketball star.
Novak Djokovic had a personal connection to him and called him a mentor and a friend and that he will live forever not only in hisheart but the hearts of many.

WTA stars also reacted to the news including Maria Sharapova who called it 'difficult' to process and that she is 'forever grateful' to both the basketball legend and her daughter who also passed away.
