Carlos Alcaraz's grandfather talked about the three 'mottos' on which Carlos Alcaraz's game was based. In Cadena Cope he was asked about them after the
Wimbledon final, when he used his 'head, heart and balls' during his epic clash against Novak Djokovic;
In which moment of the final did you put more head, in which moment more heart and in which moment what you already know (in reference to the cojones, as we all know synonymous with courage)," he was asked.
This was Carlitos' response:
The head
"The head when I lost the first set, it was a very 'coconut' moment the truth, to hold on and be strong."
The heart
"The heart throughout the game, there was no particular moment."
The balls.
"And the other (laughing)," while being encouraged by journalist Angel Garcia to say the word, "and the balls in the fifth set, when I made the drop shot and the globlo, I had not left in the whole match and I left at the time I had to leave.
