"The best of all time" - Mentor of Djokovic Nikola Pilic on the Serb

Nikola Pilic has served as a mentor to Djokovic since he was 12 years old and the Croatian captained Serbia to the 2010 Davis Cup triumph over France.

While speaking at the stadium microphone, the former Roland Garros finalist in 1973 could not hold back his tears, but he did have time to pay tribute to the current world number one saying:

“You are not one of the best players of all time, you are THE best player of all time."

The Croatian was present at the final after Djokovic invinted him along other people who he deemed crucial for his tennis succes. Marian Vajda was also present with Djokovic sharing some kind words with him as well.
