Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will compete in an exhibition match in Las Vegas on March 3, and ticket prices have been revealed. The 22-times Grand Slam champion withdrew before the Australian Open, and although there were expectations for his return at the Qatar Open this week, he ultimately announced that he won't be able to compete and will be back in Indian Wells.
Fans in Las Vegas will have the opportunity to enjoy the Spanish duel, and it will also be broadcast live on Netflix, a platform that has shown interest in venturing into the world of sports, particularly tennis. Netflix has already released documentary series featuring the best in tennis. First, a mini-series about the 4-times Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, and then it successfully ventured into the ATP and WTA Tour with the show "Break Point," which now has two seasons.
However, fans wishing to attend the exhibition event will have to pay significant prices to see the Spanish stars live. Seats on the side of the court cost $3,000 each and are almost sold out, although the more distant positions will also be priced higher than usual for Tour tournaments.
In the second level of the stands, tickets are offered at $250, and there are also virtually no seats left. In comparison, for example, with Wimbledon, similar positions were sold for around $100 in the early days on the central court.

Nadal excited for the exhibition against Alcaraz

In a showdown between former world No. 1s, it will also be an opportunity for both players to prepare for their participation in the Sunshine Double. Rafa Nadal expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the event: “I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas,” Nadal told Netflix. “I’m also very excited to be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz. I am sure it will be a fantastic night of tennis.”
On the other hand, Alcaraz also had words for the exciting event against the 22-times Grand Slam champion: “I’m honoured and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas,” the 2023 Wimbledon champion said. “He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves.”
