'Domi' didn't participate in the first week of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) as he competed at the Adria Tour in Belgrade. Thiem triumphed at the Adria Tour and moved to Mouratoglou Tennis Academy to compete in the other competition.

Already during his first weekend in the competition, he faced 2 difficult opponents. He first lost to Richard Gasquet where he gained some experience and got to know the competition. In his 2nd match, he faced 'The Greek God', Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The two played probably the best match of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) so far. After Thiem took the first quarter, Tsitsipas leveled the score after the second. 'Domi' then got 2 close victories in the 3rd and 4th to win the match 15-12, 11-13, 16-13 and 14-13 and got his first victory in the competition.
