Naomi Osaka faced Jennifer Brady in the 2021 Australian Open and Osaka proved better winning it comfortably.
The Japanese player started off the year with a brilliant run in Australia but quickly saw her 2021 season derailed by several things. Ultimately her season never got back on track but she will have a chance to do better in Australia once more. She faced a familiar name in Jennifer Brady in the final as the American had her best outing at a grand slam yet.
