Jessica Pegula shared photos of her free time while waiting for her debut at the Miami Open.
Pegula was eliminated in the round of 16 of the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells after a loss to Petra Kvitova in the third set tiebreak that ended 13-11 in favor of the Czech player, with the American wasting four match points. After the defeat, the world No. 3 was able to take a few days off before her debut at the Miami Open.
“Trying to post more non tennis content,” wrote Pegula on her Instagram account with some pictures.
The American will make her debut against the winner of the match between young star Linda Fruhvirtova and qualifier Katherine Sebov. She will also team up with Coco Gauff for doubles and face Czech sisters Linda and Brenda Fruhvirtova.
