Tsitsipas defeats Zverev to set up a final against Thiem in Beijing

Greek did not enter the match ideally, when he was losing already 3-1 in the first set, but managed to level the score and get into the lead of 5-3. But then it was him who lost his serve and so the first set was decided in a tie-break. There, it was Zverev who had up to 3 set balls, but did not convert any and Tsitsipas used his first chance to win the set.

But he failed to convert them and the match was decided in the 10th game of the second set when Tsitspas used his 6th match ball to win the match. In the final he will meet Dominic Thiem who earlier defeated Karen Khachanov.
