After a great success of the first edition, Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2) brings another set of interesting matches from 24th July - 2nd August and we'll take a closer look at all results and standings.
The Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2) continues to deliver fun and excitement to fans during the Tour suspension. Similarly to the first edition, the 2nd tournament promises to bring also a lot of interesting results. However, this time, players are divided into 2 groups of 4 with the winners meeting Alexander Zverev or Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final.
The final day of the UTS 2 was kicked-off by the first men's semifinal match between Alexander Zverev and Corentin Moutet. The Frenchman gave his more experienced opponent a tough fight, but it was Zverev who prevailed and booked his final spot after a 3-1 victory.
Felix Auger-Aliassime and Richard Gasquet met in the second semifinal match of the day. The Frenchman had a quick start to the match and triumphed in the first quarter. However, it was a one-sided match since that moment as Auger-Aliassime triumphed 3-1 and will meet with Alexander Zverev in the final.
Soon after the second men's semifinal, we witnessed the first women's final in the history of the UTS. Alize Cornet faced Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in a dramatic match that was decided in the sudden death. It was the Russian who prevailed to become the first-ever women's champion of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown.
The men's final saw a similar story. Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alexander Zverev proved their great tennis skills and once again we saw the sudden death deciding the final match. It was Zverev who prevailed again to become the second men's champion of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown.

Saturday, 1st August:
After another week, players met in Mouratoglou Tennis Academy again. Nicolas Mahut and Grigor Dimitrov were the first two players to step on the court on Saturday. The Frenchman replaced Alexei Popyrin and Dimitrov had no problem defeating him in 4 quarters.
After Benoit Paire pulled out of the match against Corentin Moutet in the third quarter, Moutet was given a 4-0 victory that really helped him in the fight for the semifinal spot. The Frenchman needed Dustin Brown to win a quarter against Fernando Verdasco. And the German succeeded in doing so, Brown won the first two quarters. However, the Spaniard then turned the match around to win it 3-2, but that didn't change the group standings and so Corentin Moutet became the third semifinalist at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2).
In the last group stage match, Richard Gasquet faced Feliciano Lopez for the last semifinal spot. The Frenchman already played semifinal match at the first edition of the UTS and now he reached it again. Gasquet secured victory over the Spaniard already after three quarters and booked his semifinal spot again.

Sunday, 26th July:
On day 2, we saw a match between the winner from the first day, Corentin Moutet and player that lost his opening match, Dustin Brown. However, this time tables turned and the German triumphed in the sudden death.
Feliciano Lopez faced Grigor Dimitrov in the second match of the evening. Match reached the sudden death where the Spaniard prevailed and improved his chances to become the winner of the group. In the next match, Richard Gasquet showed that he wants to fight for the spot in the semifinals when he defeated Alexei Popyrin.

Saturday, 25th July:
The UTS 2 was kicked-off by players that have experience from the first edition. Feliciano Lopez faced Alexei Popyrin and unlike in the first tournament, the Spaniard made a great start to the competition by winning 3-1.
Also Richard Gasquet showed his experience from the first UTS tournament. The Frenchman faced newcomer Grigor Dimitrov and he didn't experience any major difficulties when he prevailed and won the match already after three quarters.
Benoit Paire and Corentin Moutet also showed their experience with this competition in the last two matches of the day. All 3 Frenchmen were successful on day one and made a good start to the tournament.
