All 10 players competing in the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) will meet every one of their 9 opponents during the 5 weeks of the competition. That promises a lot of interesting results and a lot of numbers in the rankings.
On the first day of play, favorites didn't disappoint as Alexei Popyrin kicked-off the day with a victory over Elliot Benchetrit. Matteo Berrettini also showed why he's a member of Top 10 as he defeated Dustin Brown.
Although Feliciano Lopez needed sudden death to defeat Lucas Pouille, he got the first victory at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS). Richard Gasquet also got his victory over David Goffin in the sudden death. Stefanos Tsitsipas showed the most dominant performance when he defeated Benoit Paire without any major difficulties.
