I dont think we can overlook the fans feelings about Serbia being so very close to Putin. It would be interesting to see how each member of the ATP voted regarding the action taken against Wimbledon. Also interesting to note that Serbia just just signed a three year energy supply agreement with Putin. Serbia has no interest in following the lead of the EU.

since when does England have a say in what concerns Europe? none since you decided to exit. I understand the threat of nukes on Britain but your special relationship with the US is your comfort blanket. Most tennis tournaments and fans don't care to mix politics with sport, so doubt they even consider Novak's nationality. It's only an issue for the UK, hence the ban and the Yanks who are anti Russian anyway

Keep politics off this website. Thank you

Sorry. If you wish to be treated with the respect due a #1, then you should also act like it. Djokovic has never behaved particularly well on court; his anger management issues are more often than not on front row display. Then there was the appalling and idiotic soap opera in Australia where he repeatedly shot himself in the foot and wound up losing 2.5 major sponsors (I say .5 because Lacoste is not a sure thing. Thus the recent charm offensive by Djokovic and his new coach. We'll see how things play out, but as for the boo's - he earned every last one of them.

Yes, he's a fighter ... shows heart on his sleeve ... SCREW THE FRENCH !
Outsiders ( Fedal fans ) do not make up your worth outside or on the court, only you can and what he's done for tennis and foundations he's built around him to help the less fortunate around him makes him who he is, not lame ass haters at the French Open LOL ! He's done as much if not more than Fedal ...... Do you really think people really give a shit if your a princess on the court or not ?? No, if your a winner, know how to win and WIN.... you're doing NOTHING wrong !!
Let's face it, Serbians including the WORLDS NUMBER ONE FOR 7 YEARS, you're never going to be popular if even liked ....Djokovic battling a Spanish and Swiss queen and has dominated as #1 for last 7 years in INCREDIBLE !!!!!

Still not enough for the haters ......??

Just hating trolls like the French Crowd at RG ......wait till ass picker Rafa gets his ass wiped Tuesday by Novak LOL !! He lost 3 weeks ago to Canadian Shapovalov and nearly lost in a 4 hour 30 min 5 setter to Canadian Felix Auger Alliasime!
He's going to need more butt cream for his ass picking Tuesday .... perhaps the infamous foot injury will rear its ugly head when Novak is kicking his ass LOL !!!!

You EARN respect. Although World number one, Djokovic still has to go a long way to do that as a person. People are seeing through him and his antics on court doesn't help.

Sadly this is where fans start to get nasty, when Djoko is getting deeper into the tournament the more uncomfortable fans start to get as they afraid that somehow his presence disrupts Rafa's court. Like the commentators said, after all he has given to tennis which means he has earned it. Regardless of you're obvious disdain for him. Enjoy the match on Tuesday. Maybe the last epic between them. Keep your sour grapes

Please tell Fedal and Pedal fans to keep their sour grapes to themselves!
