Grigor Dimitrov has failed to claim victory in the final of the
Paris Masters 2023, which would have been his first ATP title since 2017 when he won the ATP Finals that same year.
The veteran Bulgarian tennis player, number 17 in the world, amazed in Paris throughout the week with an extraordinary level of tennis, but had nothing to do in the final against
Novak Djokovic, who won the title 6-4, 6-3.
After the match, Dimitrov could not help but burst into tears after losing the final, aware that he had not performed at anywhere near the same level as in the rest of the tournament.
Realizing what was happening, Djokovic went over to console the Bulgarian, who at the same time has to keep in mind that he should be more than proud of the great 2023 season he has achieved at the age of 32.
