VIDEO: Hurkacz holds a post-match press conference without being asked a single question

Hubert Hurkacz made a winning start at the Monte-Carlo Masters and when he arrived for his post-match press conference he did not get asked a single question.

A bit of a bizarre situation happened today at the Monte-Carlo Masters when Hubert Hurkacz arrived for his post-match press conference. Not every player holds a press conference but those that get requested do. While Hurkacz was requested and appeared for it he was not asked a single question.

The Moderators started off by saying that they will take a few questions in English before switching to Polish. She then asked reporters who wanted to start and told them they should raise their arm. Hurkacz observed only silence after which the Moderator asked once again 'Any questions in English?'

Hurkacz was surprised which was visible on his facial expression when the Moderator decided to switch to Polish questions. Once again there was silence as no reporter apparently raised their hand to post a question. Hubert looked around as the Moderator once again asked 'Any questions?' to which Hubert cracked a smile.

She then explained that he was requested after which he said:

"No questions. Ok. That's a nice press conference. Thank you". He then gave a thumbs up and exited the room. While leaving the microphones picked him up saying to the Moderator 'A press conference with no questions. That's a new one'.

He did not seem to mind as when it got posted to ATP's social media pages he responded with a smiling emoji in the comments. On the other hand, it was a very bizarre moment and certainly quite disrespectful for the player. Check it out below.
