VIDEO: "I hope to see you soon" says Rafael Nadal calling fans to attend the Mubadala event in Abu Dhabi

Rafael Nadal will make his return to tennis at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi in December.

The Spaniard has not played for a few months after calling time early on his 2021 season due to a persistent foot injury that troubled him all throughout 2021. The Spaniard seems to be finally healthy again with his uncle Toni Nadal explaining that Nadal is close to 100 % and will be by the time the 2022 season starts. Preparations for the season have already begun and Nadal will make his return in about two weeks.

The Mubadala tennis event will run from December 16th till December 18th and it will feature many great tennis players including Nadal. The Spaniard recorded a video for the fans calling everyone to Abu Dhabi in order to watch him and the other players compete. In the video posted by the official Twitter page of the event Nadal said:

"Hello everyone, Rafa here. I'm very happy to be back at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi. I hope to see you soon there."
