VIDEO: Intruder jumps onto court during Australian Open final between Medvedev and Nadal

With the Australian Open final taking place on Sunday morning with Daniil Medvedev and Rafael Nadal, an intruder jumped onto the court before being dragged away by security staff.

During the second set, security surrounded the players as the person in question was accosted and removed.

Footage showed the incident with the person in question having a banner saying abolish refugee detention.

The action resumed from there but it will be a big talking point after the final.
