Rafael Nadal defeated Federico Delbonis in the 2nd round at 2020 Australian Open but the match also included one incident with a ballgirl.
When Nadal was returning Delbonis' service in the 6th game of the 3rd set, he hit the ballgirl that was standing next to the umpire. Immediately after that, world no.1 went on to apologize to the girl and gave her a little kiss on the cheek.
When asked about the moment after the match on-court, Nadal said: "I was so scared for her. Honestly, the ball was quick and [went] straight on her. She is a super brave girl!" You can watch the video of the incident and the interview below.
