(VIDEO) Nicolas JARRY accidentally hits ball girl during warm-up before Medvedev loss at Miami Open

Nicolas Jarry accidentally hit a ball girl during his warm-up at the 2024 Miami Open in an innocent incident before he played Daniil Medvedev.

As both players were practicing their serves as ever pre-match, one of Jarry's serves hit a ball girl. The girl looked to have slipped as she was running at Medvedev's end when the ball then struck her.

But Jarry concerned immediately rushed over to check if she was ok and console her after the incident. He only ran back to his end after checking she was fine and exchanged a smile with Medvedev. Albeit this perhaps wasn't a good omen for Jarry who was easily beaten 6-2, 7-6 with only the second set being competitive as the Chilean saved two match points but was ultimately defeated.
