Rafael Nadal, who has not played since Washington, looking good on court in Kuwait.
Nadal traveled to the Persian Gulf in order to prepare for the upcoming 2022 season with his first stop being Kuwait. The Spaniard was seen practicing on the court in the city and looking very sharp. The final time Nadal played was at the Citi Open in Washington many months ago and it seems like the injury and surgery are well behind him.
His first match back will be at the Mubadala Tennis event in Abu Dhabi that is set to begin in a few days. Nadal elected to practice in Kuwait on the courts of his own Tennis Academy in the country which was opened last year. The video of his practice was posted on the Academy Instagram Page and Nadal will remain there a bit longer where he will hold a practice session with fans.
After that it's a short trip to Abu Dhabi for some competitive tennis.
