Andy Roddick last played in 2012 and a lot has changed in that time with racquet throwing the main topic at the moment after incidents from Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev, Jenson Brooksby and Jordan Thompson.
But in a response, Roddick produced a hilarious viral video as he aims to stem the epidemic of “throwing a racquet in the area of another human being, which rarely ends well”
“I’m going to save all the players a lot of drama and teach them how to throw a racquet without getting in trouble," he says.
He aims the racquet parallel to the ground to demonstrate it with minimum collateral damage.
“It doesn’t go anywhere. You’re not going to hit anyone and it’s going to land in a little circle of four feet.”
