Jannik Sinner recently became the youngest Italian to ever win a title in the Open era and his run in Sofia has been stellar.
The writing on the wall for Sinner has been there for a while and ever since he clearly outclassed everybody at the Next Gen Finals last year it became apparent there was a star in the making. His great play continued throughout the year and it culminated in Sofia where he played his first
final against Vasek Pospisil. The Canadian is a very tricky player to beat with his strong serve but the Italian youngster managed to do it and he lifted his first ATP trophy at the age of 19. In order to win he won 5 matches in 5 straight days beating the likes of Fucsovics, Huesler, De Minaur, Mannarino and Pospisil.
Now ATP Tennis TV compiled a video of his best plays in his title runs. It's a great compilation that showcases the youngster's style of play which is very attacking. It showed his composure in key moments which will someday take him very far. Check it out for yourself and enjoy it as we will see this more and more often on the Tour.
