Indian Wells is going towards the business end as players
from all over the world are showcasing their talent and battling it out to
secure the ultimate prize.
Two of the leading players in the men’s singles category — Serbia’s
Novak Djokovic and Italy’s
Jannik Sinner — are still very much alive in the contest.
Both players can be seen training serve with synchronization
at the Indian Wells. The video on the social media platform of both doing this
gathered a lot of attention.
Djokovic is often regarded as the greatest player in the
history of men’s tennis in the singles category in the Open era, having won as many
as 24 Grand Slam titles.
The 36-year-old has had a rather tough outing in his first
game in Indian Wells where he defeated Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic with a
score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.
On the other hand, Sinner is often regarded as one of the
most highly-rated players currently playing in the circuit.
The 22-year-old has recently lived up to the hype as he won
his maiden Grand Slam in Melbourne after beating Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in
the final in a five-set thriller with a score of 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.
Sinner had a rather smooth outing in his first match at the
Indian Wells where he defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis of Australia with a score of
6-3, 6-0.
