Currently enjoying the best period of his career so far,
Jakub Mensik didn't have much reason to smile during the opening set of his clash with Lukas Klein at the
Miami Open as the 18-year-old nearly hit the ball boy with his racquet in a meltdown moment.
Mensik who is currently World No.70, a career high defeated Luca Nardi, another recent player to note after defeating Novak Djokovic at Indian Wells before taking on Klein. He entered the favourite but lost a tight first set. The Slovak hit a forehand return on set point and Mensik walking towards his bench threw his racquet towards the chair umpire's chair with a ball boy in that direction.
Only missing the ball boy a tad, it only ended up hitting the chair, but it could've been a lot worse. His frustrations were confounded as Mensik who made his first ATP final in Dubai last month failed to qualify after losing in the second set to Klein.
