After their victory against Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer, John Isner and Jack Sock joked around.
The American pair entered the doubles draw of the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells with a wild card and had a tough opening match against the third-seeded Arevalo and Rojer, the reigning French Open champions. Isner and Sock had to fight back from a set down to defeat the Latin American pair 6-7(6), 7-5, 10-7.
During the match point that secured their win, Isner hit an incredible forehand winner down the line, and the celebratory moment became popular because of the handshake that Sock attempted to give Isner, but which was ignored by his partner:
