The 4th edition of the Laver Cup will go ahead tomorrow with the first match scheduled to begin at 19:00 CET. Casper Ruud will take on Reilly Opelka in the TD Garden in Boston and speaking ahead of the event Bjorn Borg vowed that Team Europe will do everything to defend their title. He said:
"Every match has been very close, since Prague. We've been handling the situation very well and that's what we are going to do this time too. For sure it's going to be very very difficult but you know with a team like this I'm happy to have this team we are going to do everything to try and defend our title."
Team Europe never lost a Laver Cup holding a 3-0 record over the rest of the world and on paper, they will be favourites to do so again. All top 10 players attending the event are playing for team Europe with Medvedev leading the way. Besides him we have Tsitsipas, Zverev, Rublev, Berrettini and Ruud all ranked in the top 10.
On Team World's site the highest ranked player is Felix Auger-Aliassime who is number 11 in the rankings. Tune in tomorrow for the Laver Cup as we will hve daily coverage of the event.
