Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal dominated tennis for a few years before Novak Djokovic joined them but former pro Nikolay Davydenko who played against all three believes the Fedal era is over.
It's been a few years of slow decline for Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer and while many would caution against counting them out former pro Nikolay Davydenko believes their era is over. There Davydenko explained his comments in an interview with Eurosport saying that he believes that it will be very hard for them to climb to the top once again:
"It will be difficult for Rafa and Roger to be back. I don't think they can win a five-set match. They are slowing down."
It's far argument that is backed up with some facts as both Nadal and Federer have not looked as sharp as before in recent years. Both of them are dealing with chronic injuries that won't help them in the long run and it remains to eb seen in what shape they both come back in 2022. Fans are hoping for some more highlights for them and while we migh get them it's hard to see how they can become what they were at their peak.
