Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have pushed each other to greatness for many years and Darren Cahill believes Nadal's latest triumph can fuel Federer.
Renowned tennis coach Darren Cahilltalked about Rafael Nadal's triumph at the Australian Open and he thinks the victory will give some of his rivals inspiration moving forward. Cahill believes Djokovic will be a strong contender for the French Open alongside Nadal if both are healthy to play. He also believes Federer will draw inspiration from Rafa as he always did.
He said:
“I think what Rafa did can put a little fuel in Roger’s tank, too. Roger
could say, ‘If Rafa is out there still doing it, why can’t I do it if I
get healthy and still have that love of the game?’ So, I think this
energizes the Big Three”.
