Novak Djokovic kept his card close to the chest after Serbia's Davis Cup Finals exit declining to reveal whether he will play at the
Australian Open.
There has been a lot of written about Djokovic and his intention to play at the Australian Open as he won't be able to do if he does not get vaccinated. The Serbian declined to answer whether he did get vaccinated or not but many believe the Serbian did not and won't. His father added fuel to the fire calling the event's decision to force players to vaccinate 'blackmail'.
After Serbia's exit from the Davis Cup Finals, Djokovic was once again asked about it and he said:
"I understand you want some answers on where I start the season, how I start it. I’m really, really tired from this season and this whole year,
so I just prefer sticking to the family quality time, rehab mode, then
let’s see what the future brings."
Pressed further for an answer he said:
“You will be informed. I know what you want. I’m not going to
give you an answer tonight. I know what you want to ask me. But you will
be informed. That’s all I can tell you. I cannot give you a date.
Obviously, Australia is around the corner, so you will know very soon.”
