Zverev defeats Moutet to reach final at Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2)

Alexander Zverev defeated Corentin Moutet to advance to the final of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2).

World number 75 in the ATP Rankings, Corentin Moutet has experience from the first edition of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. Now, he managed to win his group in the Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2) and faced Alexander Zverev in the first semifinal match.

The German played one match against Felix Auger-Aliassime yesterday, as both seeded players prepared for their semifinal matches. Zverev had a quick start to the match against the Frenchman. He has won the first quarter 17-12 and got a 1-0 lead in the match.

On the other hand, it was Moutet who prevailed in the second quarter to win it 12-10 and level the score of the match. However, Zverev dominated in the last two quarters, won them 17-12 and 13-11 to book the final spot at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2 (UTS 2). There, he will be facing Felix Auger-Aliassime or Richard Gasquet.
